She then kills Amrohi in a kitchen during the wedding festivities. - After the kill, Cruz activates her emergency beacon and fights through guards to escape; Joe McNamara and the rest of the team extract her. - The operation is technically declared a success, but Cruz is emotionally shattered. She confronts Joe, accusing her of turning Cruz into a weapon, highlighting that though the mission succeeded on paper, it emotionally destroyed Aaliyah and Cruz herself. Disgusted, Cruz quits the Lioness program. - Joe, haunted by what the mission cost in lives, trust, and moral compromise, returns to her home and family — but she’s changed and deeply unsettled.

With the revelation of betrayal, her professional and personal worlds both bleed — relationships frayed, trust broken, and her equilibrium shattered.
