2. Hostile Environment & Terrifying Creatures He faces roads that are dangerous due to a heavy snowstorm, then mutated infected monsters throughout the city, humans transformed into violent threats, and bizarre horrors like a large rat-like creature often called “the rat king.”

3. Personal Injury & Infection After trying to help a little girl, Bryan gets bitten — starting a slow, horrifying transformation that gives him a ticking clock against his degradation.

4. Physical and Emotional Isolation Allies like Carl and Maxine from Umbrella appear briefly but die; his attempts at connection become cut short, leaving him mainly alone.

5. Navigating the Hospital as a Trap To deliver a cure-base compound, Bryan must reach the laboratory inside Raccoon City General. But the hospital entrance is blocked, stairs become exhausting, the elevator is dangerous, and parts of the building morph into grotesque, mutated zones, including a horror-filled maternity ward.

6. Race Against Time (Against the Virus, Against Himself) As his infection worsens, Bryan must keep moving: deliver the compound, get to scientists, and fend off monsters — all while knowing with every moment that his humanity may slip away.
