Hondo was forced out of active duty after a “high-profile mission goes sideways” in which a young SWAT operator died, leading to serious fallout and his removal from the field. Two years later, his former commander, Commander Hicks, pulls him back into action—tasking him with leading an experimental SWAT unit composed of untested, unpredictable younger recruits in one last-chance effort.
