Give me a quick plot recap of One Last Shot

Jake Harris, a veteran Navy SEAL played by Scott Adkins, is dragged back into action when his former comrade Elliot Carter (Steven Cree) goes rogue and threatens national security. Carter kidnaps the Joint Chiefs of Staff and takes over a nuclear bunker, intending to use their biometric data to hijack the U.S. missile defense network.

Jake’s mission, framed as top-secret by Admiral Mulholland (Dolph Lundgren), is officially to neutralize Carter — but under the table, it’s expected Jake will kill him. The mission forces Jake to wrestle not only with heavily armed mercenaries and elaborate traps, but with his own past and loyalties.

After battling through Carter’s fortified facility, Jake is captured and confronted with Carter’s radical ideology — that the government system is corrupt and civilians already suffer, making extreme measures justified. Jake rejects that logic, insisting saving lives matters.

In the final showdown, Jake stops the missile-defense shutdown, foils Carter’s plan, and kills Carter. Though severely wounded, Jake survives. The world is saved, but more importantly for Jake, he gets to return home to his wife and children — finally closing the door on the battlefield.
