Here’s a recap of Marshals (2026): what it’s about, who’s who, and how it unfolds.
Plot summary
Kayce Dutton, freshly bereaved and having sold his land tied to the Yellowstone Ranch, leaves ranch life behind to join an elite U.S. Marshals unit in Montana. Drawing on his past as a Navy SEAL and cowboy, Kayce fights to protect his home from mounting threats—both external dangers like militia groups, domestic terrorism, trafficking rings, and conspiracies targeting Broken Rock Reservation—and internal ones like grief, family secrets, and the emotional toll of stepping into federal law enforcement. While serving, Kayce also tries to raise his teenage son Tate alone, maintain ties with Native American leaders like Thomas Rainwater, and prove that he can do justice by the law without betraying his moral compass.
